Building and installing all of the Architect packages results in a system that is well-suited for building additional packages from source code. There is an ftp client to fetch source packages from the Internet along with a C compiler and associated tools. This makes it possible to use Architect to build any number of additional packages and customize the system to whatever degree is desired.
